Oklahoma governor signs 10 bills into law

House Bill 2509 was signed Wednesday. It will extend the end date on the aerospace engineer employee and employer tax credit and the employer credit for tuition reimbursement until Jan. 1, 2018.

Fallin said the tax credit plays a key role in maintaining Oklahoma's position as an internationally recognized hub for aerospace business.

Other bills signed added specific end dates to other tax credits, made it illegal for sex offenders to change their name, and updated language related to child support payments.

Another bill limits agricultural education programs to grades 8-12 and prohibits technology center school districts from operating agricultural education programs or FFA chapters.

Gov. Fallin vetoed a measure that would have repealed several sections of law.
