Tulsa, Okla. - If you HAVE to pay taxes, you would hope the government spends it WISELY, at least.
But according to a company called WalletHub, Oklahoma is just mediocre when it comes to giving taxpayers a good return on their investment, ranked 23rd in a survey of all states.
The study looked at lots of things - Schools, Road and Bridges, Hospitals, Crime Rates, etc. - and Oklahoma didn't rank in the top five of anything, but the good news is that our state was not in the bottom five in any category either.
Oklahoma came close to being in the bottom five however, when it comes to infrastructure, which includes roads and bridges.
