Officers take couple accused of abusing a child into custody

A couple was taken into custody Friday morning in connection with the abuse of a four-month-old girl.

Tulsa court records show Emmett Guess and Arvilla Booth have already been charged.

Guess is accused of fracturing his daughter's leg.  Records show he faces one count of child abuse by injury and one count of child neglect.

Booth is accused of allowing the girl to be exposed to drugs and allowing her to test positive for meth.  Records show she faces one count of child neglect.

Both suspects are currently in the Tulsa County Jail.
