Officers find drugs, paraphernalia inside home with young children

Officers serve a search warrant Thursday to a 31st and Garnett home and find a firearm, drugs, and two children inside.

Tulsa police say Myesha Adkism was immediately taken into custody as officers searched the home.

It didn't take long for officers to find what they were looking for at the house.

Police say they found marijuana, ecstasy, and a gun inside a bedroom.  Officers also found baggies and paraphernalia inside the home.

A 12 and four-year-old were also inside the home.  Police say they were both taken into DHS custody.

Adkism is currently in the Tulsa County Jail.
