NSU professor homicide investigation leads to Tulsa

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation today is processing a car that is connected to a  homicide in Tahlequah on Friday.

Northeastern State University chemistry professor Dr. Tiffany Maher was found murdered inside her home, but her 2011 Ford Fiesta displaying an Oklahoma State University sticker was missing.

We're told that Brian Cripps spotted the car yesterday at the Stonehaven Villas Apartments and called Tulsa police.

The OSBI tells us that the vehicle was towed to a secured building.

Cripps says he had seen the car parked at Stonehaven for the last week.

The OSBI is looking for fingerprints and any other details inside the car that may help in the investigation.
