Northwest Oklahoma earthquake felt in Tulsa

An earthquake in northwest Oklahoma on Monday was felt in Tulsa and in Kansas.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the 4.3 quake was recorded at 9:46 p.m.

News 1023 KRMG got text messages about the earthquake that happened fifty miles west of Ponca City near Medford, Oklahoma.

National Weather Service meteorologist Brad McGavock said, "Folks up in southern Kansas obviously felt it and then we felt it here in Tulsa."

There were no reports of damage.
