North Korea ends 60 year old armistice

Saying “no one can expect what will happen next” North Korea moved one step closer to what many fear will be military action when the country scrapped the armistice.

The country says the drills the US and South Korea are conducting are nothing more than a way to launch a nuclear war.

The North is also planning and carrying out large scale military maneuvers of their own.

Taking it a step further the North cut off communications with South Korea by abandoning the Red Cross hotline used for years by the two and tested daily.

South Korea says they tested the line today and there was no response.

North Korea has threatened to hit the US with nuclear missiles but military strategists say the country can’t make good on that promise.

However there are concerns over possible attacks near the border with South Korea.
