Silberman who is 28 has never played football but was a star soccer player at the University of Wisconsin.
She’ll get her shot this Sunday at the NFL regional trials and she'll make history.
The invitation to try out came after a video went viral showing her splitting the uprights at an NFL exhibition event.

Silberman said she is “working hard to prepare” but understands her chances are somewhat remote.
She does however, want to be an inspiration. "I hope my willingness to put myself out there inspires others to seize opportunities and challenges."
While some players may be against the tryout former NFL punter Sean Landeta said Silberman deserved credit for “following her dream."
