New "sprayground" in Broken Arrow a hit with parents, kids

Broken Arrow’s Jackson Park has been thriving for the past several years and the new “sprayground” can only help.

The water feature is new for this summer and parents in the area are loving it.

“It’s cheap, it’s cool, and it keeps them away from the TV and the electronics” Sara told KRMG news as she watched her six year old daughter dance her way through the H2O.

“I have two three year olds” Tara began. “This is so much nicer because they can play and I don’t worry about them drowning” she smiled as she finished.

The new area has buckets that fill and then drop water on giggling children below and attached “guns” to squirt at each other in water wars.

“We’re quite excited to be able to go somewhere that’s cool and safe and fun” Sally told KRMG news.

Jackson Park is on the northeast corner of 91st and Garnett, the park also features a small pond, walking trail, restrooms and a playground.
