The presidents overall approval rating is just 45%, down from 53% last month.
The survey was conducted by CNN & ORC International June 11th-13th and has a margin of error of +/- 3 percentage points.
It comes amid several recent scandals for the Obama administration including a massive government approved surveillance program, targeting of Tea Party groups by the IRS, and attack in Benghazi that left a U.S. ambassador and three other Americans dead among others.
When asked if they thought President Obama was “honest and trustworthy” 50% of those surveyed said they did not.
