New information: Dead bombing suspect was a husband and father

The story first began to take shape mid-day Friday and was reported by newspapers overseas.

Tsarnaev was married to 24 year old Katherine Russell from Rhode Island. Neighbors in the area say Tsarnaev was seen visiting the house often until about a year ago.

When the Daily Mail tried to talk to a woman matching Katherine's description all they got was a quick "no comment."

But later in the day the family issued a statement saying:

“Our daughter has lost her husband today, the father of her child. We cannot begin to comprehend how this horrible tragedy occurred. In the aftermath of the Patriot’s Day horror, we know that we never really knew Tamerlan Tsarnaev. Our hearts are sickened by the knowledge by the horror he has inflicted. Please respect our family’s privacy in this difficult time.”
