Faktum magazine owns the “hotel”offering the homeless digs and they say there have been over 1,000 bookings since they began offering the program in November.
The magazine admits most guests don’t make it through the night despite their best efforts. Generally the cold weather is blamed for causing folks to give up on their harsh evening.
The magazine says several guests said “it made them appreciate their everyday life in a new way. The simple things like a warm bed, a roof, and a job."
Local authorities have decided to reserve comment on the situation. Magazine editor Aaron Israelson says city leaders have turned their heads because “they like to think that everything is fine in our city."
