Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa's Downtown Doubletree Hotel will be the site of a new casual-dining restaurant concept that's being tried out in three markets across the nation by the Hilton brand.
The idea veers away from the more traditional, formal sit-down restaurants with waiters.
Called the Made Market in Tulsa, the restaurant will focus on a bar and brick-oven, where for example, patrons can get coffee and pastries in the morning and get a made-to-order pizza and a beer in the evenings.
Not only will the restaurant be open to non-hotel guests, it's their GOAL to attract non-hotel guests.
"That's going to be vital really to the success of this restaurant is to have the local community in the downtown area stop by and take advantage of this kind of fast-casual concept," said manager Bruce Sneller.
Made Market opens January 14th.
The Downtown Doubletree is located near 7th and Houston, just south of the Tulsa Convention Center
