Georgetown, Tex. - A burglar is going to think twice before breaking into homes ever again.
Georgetown police tell the American-Statesman a Texas homeowner saw a flashlight waving around in his home earlier this week, so he grabbed his gun and went to investigate.
Before long, he came into contact with a burglar who seemed to be frightened, but perhaps not by the homeowner's gun.
“I have a tattoo of the grim reaper, my hair is sticking up all crazy and I’m naked,” said the homeowner, who asked that his name be withheld for safety reasons. “I’m not sure if (the burglar) was more afraid of me or the gun.”
The burglar didn't stick around long after being confronted by the homeowner.
He told the homeowner, "I'm so sorry, sir." Then the burglar jumped out of a first-floor window.
Police say the suspect is still on the loose.
