Joshua Schneider was charged Monday with First Degree Murder, First Degree Arson, and Larceny in Cherokee County.
Investigators say Tiffany Maher’s body was found inside her Tahlequah home May 31st.
Several fires were intentionally set inside the house.
Detectives say Schneider pawned the items he stole from Maher’s home.
Agents believe Schneider and Maher met through a dating website.
Schneider and his girlfriend, Heather Black, ran from police in Tulsa when agents attempted to serve felony warrants for his arrest more than a week ago.
They left Schneider’s two-year-old daughter inside the car as they fled the area on foot.
The warrants included false declaration of ownership in pawn and failure to register as a sex offender.
Schneider and Black were found Saturday afternoon in a wooded area near 91st and Highway 169.
