Police and emergency officials say as many as 14 people were stabbed on a college campus in Houston.
It happened at the Lone Star College in Cypress, Texas around noon on Tuesday.
Police say they have arrested one suspect, and as of 1:00 p.m. the campus remained on lockdown.
"Students were leaving class and going to class, and the attacks were random," Deputy Thomas Gilliland, Harris County Sheriff's Office PIO told reporters.
It's believed a student wrestled the suspect to the ground and held him until campus police arrived to take him into custody.
Four people were transported by Lifeflight, ten other people were injured according to Gilliland.
Despite some reports to the contrary, he says there was only one suspect.
No word on the name or age of the suspect, or a possible motive.
Descriptions of the weapon used range from a pencil, to an exacto knife, to a boxcutter.
