Multiple people killed in head-on collision

KRMG has learned two people died in a three vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Custer County.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol say a car hit a pickup from behind on Highway 183.  This caused the car to go left of center and hit another pickup head-on.

Shaun Elston was the driver of the car and was declared dead at the scene.

Troopers say Gary Cordes was the driver of the second pickup, and he was also declared dead at the scene.  He wasn't wearing a seat belt.

The driver of the firs pickup, and a passenger in the second pickup were not seriously injured.

No word what caused Elston to hit the first pickup.
