According to the United States Geological Survey, the first earthquake Monday morning happened near Spencer, Okla.
That one was a 3.5 magnitude and it hit around 5:30 a.m.
Then, two more earthquakes struck near Jones, Okla. The USGS says the bigger one happened at about 5:45 a.m. and was a 4.3 magnitude. The second quake near Jones was a 3.0 magnitude and happened at about 6:30 a.m.
KRMG spoke with employees at Rooster’s Café in Jones and they tell us they felt both of them.
“We were getting ready for work making coffee, making tea, things like that. And everything just shook real hard. It was kind of scary.” One worker said.
Yet another quake hit near Edmond, but it was likely not felt. The USGS says this quake was a 2.8 magnitude that happened just after 7:30 a.m.
So far, there have been no reports of any damage.
