Motorist blames rain for fatality crash

A woman turns left at 48th and Harvard and ends up hitting a man on his motorcycle late Friday night.

Tulsa police say they received the call around 11:32 p.m.

The unidentified man has been pronounced dead.

Police say she admitted to not seeing the motorcyclist due to the rain.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.  Per regulations, she was still taken to the hospital to give blood to make sure she wasn't intoxicated.

Police say if the test comes back negative, she will be ticketed for failure to yield.

The name of the victim won't be released until after his family is notified.
