Motorcyclist dies after hitting a deer

A motorcyclist who hit a deer Friday night has died from his injuries.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say Mark Robinson was on his motorcycle near Garnett and 126th Street North Friday evening when a deer darted out in front of him.

Robinson was taken to the hospital in critical condition and passed away Monday morning.

A woman was riding with Robinson on another bike. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Trooper say neither was wearing a helmet.
