Tulsa police re-opened Highway 169 for southbound traffic just before 6 a.m. Tuesday.Tulsa police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash on the Mingo Valley Expressway near the 71st Street exit.
We're told that the driver of a black Ford F-150 pickup truck called 911 and told dispatchers that the motorcycle had hit him from behind while he was driving southbound on Highway 169 at about 2:28 a.m. Tuesday.
When Tulsa police arrived just minutes later, an officer confirmed that the motorcyclist had been killed in the collision.
Police shut down all southbound traffic on Highway 169 near the scene during the investigation which can be expected to last for at least two hours.
