We've learned a mother and her boyfriend are accused of "disciplining" a 13-year-old with a shoe and belt.
Tulsa police say the incident happened on Tuesday near 41st and North Delaware.
Amanda Long and Clarence Chaplin Jr. were arrested for child abuse, after officers found wounds to the boys arms, legs, and back.
Long was arrested at her home.
Police say Chaplin fled the scene before officers could arrive. He was taken into custody a short time later intoxicated.
Both suspects are currently in the Tulsa County Jail.
