Most Americans say they’re smarter than the average American

Turns out most Americans don't think the country as a whole is very smart at all.

Most people say they’re smarter than the ‘average American.’

This information comes from a new survey that finds 55 percent of Americans consider themselves smarter than their fellow countrymen.

Twenty-five percent say that Americans overall have above-average intelligence. Men were more likely than women to say they’re smarter than the average American.

Digging a little deeper, rich people are far more likely to think Americans aren’t too bright.
