More is being learned about the brothers identified as the Boston Marathon bombers.
The men are 26 year old Tamerlan and 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev of Cambridge, Mass.
Their father Anzor Tsarnaev talked to The Associated Press the Russian city of Makhachkala after being told that Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed and Dzhokhar was being pursued.
"My son is a true angel," he said. "Dzhokhar is a second-year medical student in the U.S. He is such an intelligent boy. We expected him to come on holidays here."
It's unlikely the families of the bombing victims would agree with that opinion.
Both men are said to be from a region of Russia near Chechnya, and may be originally from Turkey. It’s also reported that the two converted to Islam.
Reports say they have lived in the U.S. for several years.
Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev was a wrestler and graduated from Cambridge Rindge and Latin School and won a $2,500 scholarship from the city of Cambridge in 2011.
A former classmate described him as “just a normal American kid.”
Older brother Tamerlan was an aspiring boxer who wanted to compete in the Olympics.
Tamerlan's Amazon Wishlist was discovered and contained fascinating information.
On his list were How to Make Driver's Licenses and Other ID on Your Home Computer, Secrets Of A Back Alley ID Man: Fake Id Construction Techniques Of The Underground, and How to Win Friends & Influence People.
In 2009 Tamerlan told a photographer “I don’t have a single American friend, I don’t understand them.”
