It began when the criminal grabbed the young girl and forced her into his car.
The girl’s mother was inside their home and was alerted when neighbors ran in to get her.
She then jumped into her own car and began chasing the bad guy.
What the mom didn’t know was the man had pushed the child out of the car shortly after he nabbed her.
Not knowing her daughter was safe the mother continued the chase while on the phone with the police. After a chase of seven miles the woman rammed the suspect’s car. The man jumped out and ran away but his freedom didn’t last long.
The next day Albuquerque cops arrested 31 year old David Jesus Hernandez and charged him with kidnapping and abuse.
Cops also told the Albuquerque Journal Hernandez fits the description of the man who took another child from the same apartment complex several days earlier.
