Missing girl recovered during armed robbery investigation

A female juvenile runaway is back with her parents and a man could face rape charges after an armed robbery at a Tulsa motel.

Tulsa Police Sergeant Jeff Davis tells us the robbery involved some drug dealing between two men who were inside a room with the girl at the motel.

"The suspect of the robbery was never located however the 15-year old was found to be a missing persons endangered runaway and her mother was actually in Tulsa looking for her," Davis said.

We're told the man who had occupied the room with the girl could face statutory rape charges.

The holdup took place about 8:11 p.m. Thursday at the Tulsa Inn and Suites at 8201 East Skelly Drive.
