The women say they were tricked into coming to the man’s home in England and threatened if they tried to leave.
They were also given psychiatric drugs and forced to pay rent.
The Telegraph reports things fell apart when Iranian born Shoja Shojai was arrested in Spain after one of the women complained of domestic abuse.
Police found over a dozen women in his mansion. Nine of them said they were fooled into living in his mansion “under false pretenses.”
It’s also alleged he fathered children with at least seven of them.
The women were from all over the world. Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Germany, and most were aspiring models. They say Shojai told them he would be able to help them with their careers.
Shojai has posted bail and denies the charges.
