Mild winter, recent rains mean lots of spiders this year

They're creepy and they're crawley... and there's a lot more of them than usual.

Darren Gooch with Zoellner Exterminating says the spring rains mean spiders have plenty of other bugs to snack on. Gooch says, "When we have a mild winter, it causes them to emerge sooner and become active sooner."

That means more time to reproduce. There's also more bugs for those spiders to snack on.

His advice? Call the pros and get regular pest control treatment.
