Meth lab suspected in west Tulsa duplex fire

Tulsa firefighters responded to the scene after a fire was reported at a west Tulsa residence early Monday.

Several witnesses called 911 after seeing flames coming from one side of a duplex located near 5300 West 8th Street.

Firemen quickly brought the fire under control, but summoned a fire investigator after finding that the fire was started by a possible meth lab.

Suspicious materials that could have been used as a meth lab were found in one room of the residence.

We're told no one was home at the time of the fire that was reported at about 2:45 a.m.
