McDonald’s to offer egg white only McMuffin

The new breakfast sandwich will be called the Egg White Delight and it will weigh in at just 250 calories when it’s offered in April.

McDonald’s refers to the new creation as a premium option food.

The company says the egg whites will be fried on a real grill and not microwaved as some restaurants do.

The Delight will be served on a whole-grain English muffin and covered with the traditional slice of Canadian bacon and white cheddar.

Reports say McDonald’s will branch out and allow customers to ask for any of their breakfast sandwiches be made with whites only for an additional charge.
