He is one of the few, the proud, the Marines.
Marine Corps veteran Joe Morris has a message for the V-A -- he's not dead.
The Houston-area veteran served two tours in Iraq.
But Morris had to convince the Department of Veterans Affairs he's still with us.
He tells KPRC-TV he was apparently killed off by a computer glitch.
He says he was trying to set up direct deposit of his disability payments when he learned he had been classified as deceased in April.
Morris says he's getting his V-A benefits again, but he doesn't want the problem to happen to anyone else.
