Man witnessed choking 2-year-old at park

A verbal dispute between a man and his girlfriend soon spilled over to a young child on Tuesday.

Tulsa police say the victim and Glenn Antwine were at LaFortune Park when an earlier argument started up again.  Moments later, witnesses saw Antwine punch his girlfriend in the face.

The woman picked up her 2-year-old daughter and tried to get away from her boyfriend.

Witnesses told officers Antwine wasn't about to let her leave.

Instead, he grabbed the child from behind by her neck, so his girlfriend couldn't go anywhere.

Officers showed up at the park and took Antwine into custody.

Police say the woman and the child both showed injuries consistent with the stories they were told.

No word on if the child is Antwines.

He faces counts of physical abuse of a child and domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor.
