Man travels multiple times from Michigan to sleep with teen

A Michigan man is accused of making several trips to Oklahoma in order to sleep with a 13-year-old girl.

Cherokee County court records show 27-year-old Christopher Dale Adams was arrested last week after a park ranger saw the suspect and a teen acting suspicious at a park.

This led to several interviews with the suspect and the victim.

Court records show the teen admitted to the sexual relationship.  She told investigators the  pair would go to motels.

Her adoptive mother also played a role in the two meeting up on multiple occasions.  Court records show she admitted to paying for the suspect's travel expenses so he could see the girl.

She hasn't been arrested and no charges have been filed.

Adams faces five counts of first-degree rape and five counts of forcible sodomy.

He's currently in the Cherokee County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
