Man threatens pressure cooker bombing over misspelling

This guy wasn’t angry about war or religion. He was twerked off about a spelling error.
Leonard Burdek was angry because a sign near an office building was supposed to say “State of Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission.”
But instead it says “State of Oregon Teacher Standards an Practices Commission.” He tried to blow up the sign because it had a missing “d” in the word and.
Burdek wasn’t shy about his intentions either. He walked into the office in Salem, Oregon and tossed a pressure cooker on a desk with wires coming out the top. He then explained his bomb didn’t work but he was still really mad.
Burdek took his dud and beat a hasty retreat when he saw one of the people in the office call 911.
It didn’t help him though, cops found him and discovered his device was a fake. He was charged with disorderly conduct but police think Burdek “was just trying to get attention."
