Man thinks he's sexting with a teen, actually has wrong number

Another case of sexting getting a person into trouble.

Delaware County deputies say Earl Elliott was arrested on Wednesday for sexting who he thought was a 17-year-old girl.  It turned out to be a wrong number.

He actually was sexting an adult male who then called deputies.

Deputies say he was arrested at a convenience store where Elliott thought he was meeting the teenager.  He had been expecting to trade drugs for sex with the girl.

Delaware County court records show Elliott was arraigned on Thursday.  He faces a count of facilitating, encouraging, offering or soliciting sexual conduct with a minor and two counts of endeavoring to distribute controlled dangerous drugs to a minor.
