Man stranded while replacing window 15 stories up

Tulsa firefighters rescued a man who was stranded fifteen stories above the pavement in downtown Tulsa late Tuesday.

Tulsa Police Sergeant Wes Phelps tells us the man was outside the Williams Tower Two near 2nd and Main about 10:58 p.m.

"He was up there replacing a window and his ropes got tangled because of the wind and he got hung up there and (the Tulsa Fire Department) had to be called and they were able to successfully get him down," Phelps said.

We're told the man at first refused to get into the bucket with the firefighter, but changed his mind.
No one was injured.
