Man shot in the face during home invasion

KRMG has learned a Norman home invasion victim has died, after being shot in the face Thursday night.

Police say Justin Barnard and an unidentified woman were at home, when three men wearing masks forced their way inside. 

One of the suspects shot the victim once and another suspect stole the woman's wallet.  The suspects then fled the scene.

Barnard was transported to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.  The female victim wasn't seriously harmed.

Investigators believe the shooting may be related to a fight between the victim and his girlfriend.  The fight is said to have happened on Wednesday in Oklahoma City.

No arrests have been reported.
