Man shot six times, witnesses not talking to police

Tulsa police are investigating a shooting, but they're not getting any help from witnesses.

Tulsa Police Corporal Jack Ritter tells us 48-year old Clyde Daniels was shot six times near 4900 North Boulder about 8:50 p.m. Monday.

Daniels was taken to the hospital where he was being treated for "six gunshot wounds, four to the chest and one to each arm."

Ritter also tells us "there was no suspect description given by anyone at the scene, nor Mr. Daniels who was conscious and talking to officers when they arrived."

Police had no useful information for the investigation.

"I suspect that it may develop over time because it's a heavily-populated area on North Boulder so people might become less intimidated and come forward with some information," Ritter said.

Daniels was last reported to be in surgery and in critical condition.
