A man is dead after a fight and a shooting near Pine and Sheridan.
The man was shot about 7:37 p.m. Thursday near 5800 East Tecumseh Street.
We're told that the shooter lives at the residence and the victim is the son of the shooter's girlfriend.
The victim was visiting when the fight started.
The shooter was able to break free from the victim and he ran into the house where he retrieved a shotgun from the closet.
As the victim was coming back into the house, the victim was shot.
We're told that the shooter waited for police to arrive.
Tulsa Police homicide detectives interviewed witnesses and the shooter and it was determined that the shooter would be released.
The investigation is ongoing and will be turned over to the District Attorney’s office for review.
This is the 57th homicide in Tulsa for 2013.
