TULSA, Okla. None - Tulsa police say they have opened an investigation into the city's 44th homicide of the year.
TPD Det. David Walker issued a brief release Sunday outlining the circumstances behind the death of Eric Fuller, 48.
A 911 call alerted officers to the presence of his body in a ditch near N. Harvard Ave. and E. Virgin Street about 8:25 a.m. Sunday.
The victim had apparently died as the result of gunshot wounds.
Detectives and the Crime Scene Unit responded and canvassed the neighborhood looking for witnesses.
Walker says information gleaned from those interviews puts the time of the shooting at approximately 3-4:00 a.m. Sunday.
Other than that, he says, they have very little to go on.
"The Homicide unit is working on leads and there is nothing to report on the motive, suspects or person's (sic) of interest at this time," Walker wrote.
Anyone with information on the crime is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS (2477), the TPD Homicide Tip Line at 918-798-8477, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tipsters can remain anonymous, and could qualify for a cash reward.
