A man may lose a finger after a homemade firecracker blows up in his hand.
Tulsa Police Corporal Dan Miller tells us two kids coaxed the intoxicated victim into lighting the mortar for them about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday near 600 East 54th Strteet North.
"He wasn't able to get rid of the firecracker just quick enough. It blew up in his hand injuring his right hand severely," Miller said.
The man was taken to the hospital.
No one was arrested.
