Fri, Sept 22, 2017 — We have updated information regarding a man accused of killing a 60-year-old victim back in December.
Tulsa County court records show Jose Rivera-Chavez was found guilty on Thursday of first-degree murder. The jury recommended Chavez spend life in prison without the possibility of parole.
He had been accused of fatally stabbing a woman at the Extended Stay Motel near 41st and Memorial.
KRMG will update the story when Chavez is officially sentenced.
