The man was a 42 year old contractor who was working on the home and police say they suspect it was a suicide.
Newton-John and her estranged husband John Easterling own the over 7,000 square foot Florida home and were said to be about to sell it to Rosie O’Donnell.
The couple were not at the residence when the incident happened.
Cops confirm they will investigate the death more fully before an official ruling of suicide is announced.
The man's name won't be made known until the investigation is complete.
