Colin Fiedler is 39 years old, and had suffered a heart attack just before he was pronounced dead.
Thanks to a new cardiac machine, doctors were able to bring Fiedler back to life.
This new lifesaving machine is called the AutoPulse.
The battery operated chest compressor is a portable heart and lung pump that keeps blood and oxygen flowing.
The AutoPulse is strapped around the entire rib cage while doing up to 80 chest compressions per minute.
Manual compressions don’t supply enough blood flow to be very effective, even when done correctly.
The machine is currently going through testing in Australia.
Experts say the new pump moves more blood with more consistency, so it could prove to be a lifesaving breakthrough.
