Man crashes into south Tulsa apartment building

Sat, Oct 21, 2017 — An unidentified man is in custody Saturday morning after he crashed his vehicle into a south Tulsa apartment building.

The wreck happened around 12:30 a.m. at the Copper Mill Apartments near 71st and Sheridan.

Police say the driver fell asleep at the wheel, his foot slipped on the gas, and the vehicle ended up hitting the building.  It’s believed he was driving while under the influence, so he was arrested.

Nobody inside the building was injured.
