Man charged with shooting his roommate with a rifle

A Tulsa man is charged Friday morning with the murder of his roommate.

Tulsa court records show James High faces one count of first-degree murder and one count of possession of a firearm after a felony conviction.

Police say High is accused of shooting Gerald Greenfield with a rifle during a fight near 21st and Harvard on July 25th.  Witnesses told officers they saw the suspect flee the home shortly after hearing gun shots.

High is currently in the Tulsa County Jail.  No word on a court date.
