Man charged with Easter egg assault

The temper tantrum began when Aaron Goempel’s girlfriend accused him of cheating on her.

He began pelting her with Easter eggs and then locked himself in a bedroom.

When cops in Pittsburgh broke through his door, Goempel tried to grab several knives and swords he had in his room.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports police were able to get Aaron outside, but not before he kicked one of them where a guy hates to be kicked. They also covered his head with a pillowcase because they knew from prior issues that he would try to spit on them.

Yes, Goempel was well known to cops.

The egg tossing Goempel was charged with aggravated assault after one of the Eater eggs smacked his girlfriend in the eye, causing bruising.
