Man charged in foiled robbery attempt

A Tulsa man is charged with attempting to rob a Bixby pharmacy on Friday.

23-year-old Tyler Joseph Burns was arrested before he could put on his mask or get out of his vehicle to rob the CVS Pharmacy located near 101st and Memorial.

An arrest report states police were tipped off Burns would be robbing the pharmacy on January 24th during the evening. Bixby and Tulsa officers followed the suspect to the store.

Bixby PD wouldn't say how they got the tip.

Burns remains in the Tulsa County jail.
