Man caught breaking into home to steal pills

A man was caught breaking into a Skiatook home on Tuesday.

The homeowner tells Tulsa deputies this wasn't the first time.

Deputies say the victims told them Brock Sandridge had been found inside their home on a different occasion.  The previous time, he was able to get away with Hydrocodone.

On Tuesday, Sandridge wasn't so lucky.

A man inside the home found Sandridge looking around the living room with a flash light.  When the man confronted Sandridge, the suspect said "excuse me," pushed the man, and then fled the scene.

He wasn't on the loose for long.

Deputies say they found him hiding at his mother's home.  Plus, he had two orange bottles containing stolen pills and powder residue.

Once in custody, Sandridge confessed, "I had hit rock bottom and had to have something for it."
