He was dressed like a crimefighter, but instead he was committing a crime.
Tulsa Police say a man wearing a Batman mask robbed the KFC at 21st and Garnett at gunpoint around 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.
They say he demanded cash and then jumped over the counter, taking an undisclosed amount of cash.
"The only clothing description we have, he was wearing all-dark clothing," Corporal Bruce Alexander told News on 6.
Witnesses described the mask to police as one of the recent movie-style Batman masks that are sold in stores.
The robber fled the scene in a vehicle.
Police say it might have been a red pickup truck.
He was described as around 6'2" with a thin build.
